Fort Payne High School JROTC

Cadets

Learn about the history, teams, and leadership of the Wildcat Battalion.

History

Congress established JROTC as an Army program in the National Defense Act of 1916. In 1964, the program expanded to include the Navy and Air Force, helping create the well-known JROTC programs we have today.

Army JROTC eventually came to Fort Payne High School in 1993 with S.A.I. COL Cole and A.I. Sergeant Major Hollingsworth.
